The category winners are selected out of the 5 nominated games in each category:

- Excellence In Gameplay
- Best Casual Game
- Best Real World Game
- Most Innovative Game
- Best Sports Game
Grand prix
400,000 € value of gross media exposure
When the jury has decided who the winners are in each category, they will have a discussion on the choice of the Grand Prix. The decision on the Grand Prix winner has to be made unanimously.
Operators' Choice Award
During the second round of judging, a special committee of the jury, representing at least two mobile network operators, are selecting the Operators' Choice Award among the 30 nominees.
People's Choice Award
As soon as the nominees are known, the public will be invited to vote for their favourite game. The game with the most votes will receive the People's Choice Award.
