The Blocks Cometh

The Blocks Cometh is a game about dodging and climbing an endless series of falling blocks. Players climb as high as they can before getting crushed or falling to their ultimate death. Picture being trapped in a deranged game of Tetris but instead of controlling the blocks you are frantically trying to avoid them as you jump, dodge, shoot and climb to beat the highest score in this endless vertical climber.

Halfbot is a start up Canadian indie game development company, established in 2010 by industry veterans Melvin Samuel and Derek Laufman. The Blocks Cometh was their first iOS game release, and has received high praise in the media world with Mashable.com top 10 iOS games of 2011 and Edge Magazine's top 50 Must Play iOS titles. Recently Halfbot teamed up with IGF nominated developer's Vlambeer and brought their smash PC hit Super Crate Box to iOS platforms.
