2004 The first version, called the 3D Mobile Gaming Contest,
was initiated by DISCREET in 2004.
The winner was the French company EXKEE with a 3D game BURT. Burt became the mascot of the IMGA.
2005
NVIDIA became the leading sponsor with Orange, Nokia and Alias. Auchan and Belle de Mai Mediapark, Marseille joined in.
The winners of the 2005 edition were:

best art VAKA Technologies with 3D World Warriors
best technical achievement NVIS and HIT Lab with AR Tennis
best gameplay Paul Carruthers with Monkey Pole Climb

2006
For the 2006 edition, the main sponsors are: Adobe, MOVIDA, NOKIA, NVIDIA
and Texas Instruments.
Auchan and Belle de Mai Mediapark, Marseille are co-sponsors.
25 nominees were announced out of the 400 plus compagnies and independent
developers that entered the competition.

The call for entrie starts was launched on 7th June 2007.
