Jeuxvideo.com was launched in 1997. It's operated by l'Odyssée Interactive, a French company based in Aurillac, in the centre of France. L'Odyssée Interactive is a subsidiary of Hi-Media group.
Q : Why is your company involved in mobile Gaming?
A : jeuxvideo.com is the leading videogames website in France. Our intention is to speak about all videogames on all platforms: PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, Wii, PSP, DS, Gameboy Advance... and mobile phones. There are about 50 million mobile phones in France. This means that mobile phones are potentially the first gaming platform : how could we be silent about it? So we've been writing news, game reviews about mobile games. The main difference between classic videogaming and mobile phones is that the job is far harder : because there are hundreds of different phones on the market! :-)
