The Global Mobile Content Awards (GMCA), co-organized by SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) and KOCCA (Korea Content & Culture Agency), recognizes outstanding achievements in mobile content creation for games and audio and visual production that are specifically developed for digital mobile gadgets as well as services and technologies that enable or facilitate mobile content.
The GMCA is an annual event to acknowledge distinguished works in the field of mobile content, thus making this a significant event.
The GMCA 2007 is categorized by genre reflecting the consumer experience of mobile content - Mobile game, Mobile music, Mobile TV & Video, Mobile Information, Mobile Community & Communication and Mobile Commerce.

The GMCA promotes networking among global mobile industries to stimulate the active exchange of information and knowledge. To maintain fairness and objectivity in the evaluation process the Panel of Judges is composed of renowned experts from global ICT companies, media, finance, consulting, and academia.
Held in conjunction with Seoul Digital Forum (SDF 2007), GMCA will serve as an opportunity to gather worldâs top leaders from the mobile industry, academia and government creating a catalyst for mutual success.
The winner honoring the most innovative and the hottest trends are announced at the GMCA ceremony and gala dinner on May 30, 2007.
The culmination of the Global Mobile Content Awards 2007 will be a gala dinner at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill, Seoul on May 30, 2007.
