The Swiss based company Denkzone was founded in 2001 and has first focused on providing IT consultancy services. With all of Denkzone's employees having studied computer graphics at university and being game enthusiasts the dream of being a games developer has always been at the back of one's mind. The emerging phone games market provided the opportunity everyone at Denkzone was waiting for. In collaboration with young talented graphics artists in Berne Denkzone started to develop and distribute its own line of mobile phone games. In 2004 Denkzone launched its first mobile phone game 'Ozumi' a successful pac-man look a like with a scrolling maze. With its next title the X-mas game 'Santa Panic' Denkzone proved its creativity by combing puzzle and action elements into a unique game concept that players found to be very addictive. Denkzone's creativity also shows in the latest title 'Band Quest' and was awarded by reaching the finals of last year's IMG Awards.
Currently Denkzone is working on 'Mountain Bike Rampage' a game that will feature incredibly realistic bike action. A highly optimized physics engine achieves the realistic motion. At the time only very few studios worldwide can offer physically based motion on phone devices.

Q : Why is your company involved in mobile Gaming?
A : Not only has everyone at Denkzone been fascinated by computer games from childhood on, but also we have been programming games as a passion since the early 80ies on platforms like C64 and Sinclair Spectrum. The mobile phone games market has given us the chance to live this fascination in a professional way.
Q : Why is your company an IMGA partner?
A : We think the IMGA is a fantastic platform to display the creativity and innovation of the talented people in the mobile games industry. We strongly believe the whole mobile games market can greatly benefit from having such a platform like the IMGA.
