When silly physics meets soccer…
Soccer Physics has been awarded last March in San Francisco in the category Best Multiplayer Game. The goal is pretty simple: you have to use gravity to move your players and score a goal. Add to this unpredictable players and a crazy-retro soundtrack, composed by Strayworx and you will soon also be soccer-addict. We have to admit that when we discovered this crazy one-button game at the judging session in Marseille, we could not stop playing it!
Otto-Ville Ojala – creator of Wresle Jump and Tug the Table – is the Finnish developer behind Soccer Physics that he described as “a physics-based two player soccer game where you control your soccer team using just one button”.
3 good reasons to play Soccer Physics
1. It is not really soccer
Silly physics, simple controls, multiplayer feature, totally random situations and the fact that the game has almost nothing to do with actual soccer probably make the game incredibly addictive. For soccer lovers but not only!
2. Anyone can win in Soccer Physics
Another good news with this mobile game is that anyone can win in Soccer Physics! Although there’s experience involved, the balance of skill and luck makes the game both addicting and easy to learn.
3. A game to share
Soccer Physics is the perfect multiplayer game. You won’t stop laughing when you will the players’ outfit changing, from naked to headless.
Soccer Physics’ future? There might be some updates coming to the game someday, but nothing major. The game will remain free on web browsers and paid on Apple’s current (and upcoming) devices.
