    About Lines the Game

We are Gamious, a small Amsterdam-based game developer. We create original games with pure gameplay – games we love to play ourselves. Every game we deliver is the result of the collaborative effort of a small team. These teams consist of people with the right skills, experience and an absolute passion for that specific game genre. We either self-publish, work with publishers, or a mix between these two, to get the games to the right platforms.

**WINNER Best Casual Entertainment Game - Dutch Game Awards 2015**

Lines is an abstract ‘zen’ game experience where form is just as important as function. Place or remove dots to initiate a colourful race that fills a drawing. The colour that dominates the race wins. Lines is the perfect game to play while commuting or in other short moments of downtime. Play a single session in a matter of seconds or find yourself making a winning streak of 20 games in a row!

    What makes my game unique?

Features: -The type of gameplay is unique. -Play a staggering amount of 250 unique puzzle levels. -5 game modes: Point, Eraser, Rope, Knife, and Mixed mode. -Win several times in a row to set a winning streak and earn medals. -Play under pressure in the Daily Challenge, in which you only get one chance! -All levels are winnable! A script was created to make sure that all 250 levels have at least 200 different starting positions that are all winnable!

Why could my game win an award?

Why should we win?! That's not fair :) Lines offers many things to many players. A play session for a casual gamer can literally take 10 seconds. While more core gamers can find joy in reaching impressive win streaks. Lines is simplistic, but not dumb. Lines is colourful, but not garish. Lines is, we believe, a great achievement for 1 part-time programmer and a small team of designers.
