In 1992, with his brother Ignacio they took over the general management of Proein, a family business dedicated to the distribution of video games. A year later, their determined business vision led them to start a project of Internet content and access – Teleline – which later became Terra - in partnership with Telefónica. During this time at Teleline, Javier Pérez held the roll of CEO and General Manager until 1996. That same year, and after selling 50% of TeleLine to Telefonica, both brothers set up LaNetro and Pyro Studios.
