#291 SYNCHRO
SYNCHRO is a game of endurance by means of synchronization. It's a multi-player mobile game with players communicate via Bluetooth. Facing towards the centre, where a ball is located, players are evenly distributed along the circle in virtual space. The same 2-tone beat is generated on all players' devices. Players are then urged to keep pace, i.e. SYNCHROnize, with the beat by pressing the left and right keys alternatively. Whoever makes the best / closest match, i.e. SYNCHRO, will gain the strongest attractive force, thereby dragging the ball toward him/herself. The strength of the attractive force depends only on the SYNCHRO but not on the distance from the ball. Whoever finally 'homes' the ball (drags it right before oneself) will be the winner.

Sai Chung Tam
More
than a couple of decades ago, when he first came across that classical Apple
II, he was overwhelmed with fascination. Computers, in those days, were comparatively
'simple' and 'slow', but had nearly deprived me of academic life.
Sai Chung
Tam programmed using Basic, Pascal, and later on Assembly and even Machine
Code. He self-studyies not only softwares but also related hardwares all
day long,
graduating at the same time at Hong Kong Polytechnic (now University) in
1990, achieving a distinction.
Thereafter, he worked as a Radio Officer maintaining all navigational
and telecommunication devices onboard ocean-going container vessels. Self-employed
since 1993, he established a service bureau, offering desktop publishing,
imaging, design works, or the like. With 3D and architecture being two
of his top interests, he happened to be an Interior Designer completing
some twenty projects so far.
Sai Chung Tam likes games, especially computer/mobile games, but likes making
games even more.
