As with previous editions of Nordic Game, one of the most valuable parts of the NG18 experience will be “intimacy”. Thus, the socializing, and the fun, only possible due to the incredible Nordic Game audience. This audience which consists of game developers from all over the Nordic countries, and their peers from across Europe and around the globe. NG18 will feature loads of networking events and parties. There will also be a Discovery Day on Friday, 25 May, dedicated to experimental and artistic games. It will be created in cooperation with Copenhagen Game Collective.
The MeetToMatch business matchmaking system was a huge success story last May, with an incredible 2790 meetings held. It cemented Nordic Game’s reputation as one of the world’s absolute hot-spots for games business. At NG18, this focus will also expand into the speaker program. Indeed, there will be a new publisher-orientated business track as one of the new editions.
The Nordic Game conference is still very much the only annual gathering place for the entire Nordic games industry. NG18 will be no exception. At the same time, outreach to the rest of the world will grow in 2018. There will be a range of new as well as returning country delegations exhibiting in the NG Expo. Also, the new Discovery Contest Finalist Expo on 23-25 May will be a great showcase to experience and meet with the best development talents from across Europe.
Nordic Game would not exist without the tremendous support from our sponsors and partners. Many of them, such as MediaNet BerlinBrandenburg, Epic/Unreal 4, Dolby, Unity, Nordisk Film Games and Appodeal – to name a few – have already signed-up for NG18. But there’s always room for more!
