Our call for entries for the 13th edition of IMGA Global is now closed, and we are pleased to announce that we received entries for 987 games either released in 2016 or not published yet. A special thanks to all the participants, and good luck during the next phase: the online judging session!
More than 150 judges will play and evaluate all of the competing games, and will give their opinion to determine whether or not each game can move forward to become a nominee. Various criteria are taken into account, from gameplay to art and design. Each game will be played several times by mobile game experts to ensure a fair evaluation.
The purpose of this initial judging session is to select roughly one hundred of the best submitted games for nomination. These games will then be played during a rigorous two-day judging session in Marseille, France, by a panel of 15 industry experts.
The online judging session was used for the first time during the IMGA SEA and IMGA MENA, and turned out to be a huge success. We look forward to updating you again on February 2nd for the nominees’ announcement and on March 1st for the winners revelation!
