With Afterpulse, you can become the soldier you want to be. Afterpulse, the next generation of online mobile shooters, has been nominated for Best Multiplayer Game and Best Technical Achievement in the 12th IMGA.
Afterpulse is a quick action, shoot-and-run, multiplayer third-person shooter that utilizes the latest mobile development technology to transport players into a post-apocalyptic urban battlefield.
Battles take place in lifelike outdoor and indoor urban environments, designed to reach an intense close quarter’s experience thanks to the ultra-smooth and fully customizable touchscreen controls.
Along its top-notch graphics, the game also boasts enhanced online matchmaking for live free-for-all (competitive) battles and 8-player Team Deathmatch (cooperative) games. Using zone server technology, each match is made with optimal player experience in mind.
When players aren’t battling in multiplayer matches, they can expand and personalize their arsenal and hone in their shooting skills through quick two-and-a-half minute training sessions for more than 100 hours of single-player gameplay.
Besides the ultra-complete, and growing, collection of body gear with gameplay skills and gadgets, players can choose their own battle style with over 40 different primary and secondary weapons to choose from seven classes of weapons – Handgun, Shotgun, Assault, SMG, LMG, Sniper and Rockets – and power up, combine and evolve their firearms for limitless possibilities.
In addition to Apple’s Metal API and full 64-bit support, the game uses full physically based deferred rendering, HDR post processing and skeletal animations with ragdolls to create true-to-life movements and photorealistic lighting, shadows, smoke, dynamic weather conditions and crossfire.
The game is available worldwide to download for free and is localized in 18 languages.
