Fish Tycoon 2: Virtual Aquarium is a simulation game and sequel to the PC hit “Fish Tycoon“. Players must nurture and raise their fish to be sold in their Fish Store, with the greater goal of discovering 7 magic fish species. Over time new, rarer species are discovered as players upgrade their tanks, research to support their newly discovered uncommon and rare fish. 

What makes your game unique?

Fish Tycoon 2: Virtual Aquarium is truly a one of a kind game. No other Fish Tank Simulator combines both the nurturing and simulation aspect with a more “builder” focused meta-game, which is offered with our in-game Fish Store. 
 

Why do you think you will win the Grand Prix this year?

We feel what sets our product apart is both the uniqueness of the concept and the innovation in the gameplay. The goal of Fish Tycoon was to create a truly virtual, portable fish tank simulation that must be maintained, much like a real aquarium to keep the fish happy and healthy. With the variety of different challenges (sickness, feeding, research) the player develops true ownership over their game and makes a real connection to the product.
