    What makes my game unique?

The original BADLAND has a unique art style, atmospheric audio and the simple physics based one-touch gameplay mechanics combined with the cloning (controlling dozens of creatures at the same time) is unique as well. The core mechanics were simple, but the depth of gameplay that comes out of them was deep. New features and elements are introduced throughout the game. In BADLAND 2, we wanted to make it a worthy sequel, not just more of the same, yet still familiar enough. Expanding the control scheme from single-touch, always flying from left to right into two-touch (tap on left and right sides of the screen) and being able to move to all directions can feel like a small change but it has big implications. As a result, the levels are much more intricate and open up a lot more. The camera also now zooms in and out which helps to build wider range of suspense and different atmospheres. There are also plenty of new features in the levels and the new rolling character brings even more variety to the game without spinning too far from the original.

Why could my game win an award?

It seems that both the player and the critics have appreciated the changes in the sequel and consider the sequel an even better game than the original BADLAND. We hope and believe that this will be reflected in the IMGA result as well.
