    About G30 – A Memory Maze

    The main idea of the game is to recreate the process of memorizing by combining telescopic text and graphical puzzle.

    The gameplay creates the new approach to the narrative and player experience:
    The main goal is to create visual that consists of several parts and that are controlled with the help of dashed lines. Dragging them like strings, user not only solves the puzzle, but also reveals the memories in telescopic text.

    Telescopic Text is connected to visual puzzle and takes a function of progress indicator and we need it to see how close we get to solve the puzzle. The more you solve the puzzle the more text unfolds and you get closer to the goal.
    Also Telescopic Text changes the meaning on every step, sometimes really dramatically and that feature represents transformation of memories when we add new details to them.
    The memories accumulate more and more details and thus are constantly changing.
    Not only the final script is interesting, but also each imaginary variation on each of the iterations of the telescopic text.

    The project tells a story about person with cognitive disorder and also has a social function to tell about certain type disease and social problems that appear with it.
    This game is about what we remember and what we’ve forgotten forever

    The game is still in development and is being created by one man: all the coding, game design, art and even music is done by one developer.
    Multiple Awards winning game that creates brand new forms of gameplay and player experience and recreates the process of memorizing in unique and innovative mix of telescopic text and graphical puzzle.
    The project also has a social narrative function to tell the story of a person with a cognitive disorder and social problems that appear with it.

    What makes my game unique?

    The G30 creates brand new forms of gameplay and player experience and recreates the process of memorizing in unique and innovative mix of telescopic text and graphical puzzle.
    The project has meaningful atmospheric gameplay, distinctive visual style and also has a social narrative function to tell the story of a person with a cognitive disorder and social problems that appear with it.
