    About Skate City

Skate City aims to capture the heart and soul of street skating in a style that's all your own. Push to perfect your flow and improve your skills while mastering hundreds of trick combinations. Immerse yourself in the dynamic environments as morning fades to night, and the weather shifts unexpectedly.

    What makes my game unique?

Skate City differentiates itself from other installments in the skateboarding genre with its fluid core mechanics and novel approach to accessible controls. The game's features come wrapped up in an atmospheric visual style that can also be captured and shared through real-time video recording tools. With vibrant portrayals of authentic skate locations, customizable fully rendered characters, and a subdued hip-hop inspired soundtrack, Skate City offers a unique take on the genre while still remaining grounded in skateboarding culture. Players of all skill levels and experience can lose themselves in the flow of riding through city streets that come to life around them. Whether it's your first time riding or you're rediscovering your love of skateboarding, you'll find plenty of different ways to enjoy Skate City.

Why could my game win an award?

Skate City captures the heart and soul of street skating in an authentic light. Players can explore three unique cities based off of real-world skate locations, including the streets of Los Angeles, Oslo, and Barcelona. Set to original lo-fi beats, you can ride like a local through each city’s Challenge mode, or take it at your own pace with Endless Skate. Skate City is a fresh, yet refined, take on bringing the experience of skateboarding and skateboarding culture to mobile devices. The player is dropped into the perspective of a skate video with a tailored control scheme that makes pulling off skateboarding tricks and combos both fun and accessible. The game was one of the flagship titles at the Apple Arcade launch and was well-received by the game press, casual gamers and skaters alike. Apple chose to feature Skate City amongst all other launch titles in its Apple Arcade press release, as well as on the backdrop when Tim Cook presented Apple Arcade at the iPhone keynote in September this year.
